Spiced Whole Roasted Cauliflower
Most of us are used to picking our main meal based on a protein (fish, chicken, beef, etc.) and then we add sides to it.
BUT — we all know we should be eating more plant-based meals for all their amazing benefits:
Support your immune system
Reduce inflammation
Maintain a healthy weight
Help keep your gut healthy (which is key for overall health)
Reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and some mental health illnesses.

As it can be hard to figure out what to eat, I wanted to give you some inspiration.
SO— here is one EASY AND DELICIOUS IDEA for you:
Spiced Whole Roasted Cauliflower
Super easy and ready in just five simple steps, you can make this the center of your plant-based meal and you won’t miss the meat (I promise!)
SPICED WHOLE ROASTED CAULIFLOWER
Ingredients:
- Whole medium size cauliflower
- ½-1 Tbsp Olive oil- enough to cover the cauliflower
- Salt- to taste
- Black pepper – freshly ground to taste
- ½ tsp- 1 tsp Turmeric (depending on the size of your cauliflower)
Instructions:
- Heat your oven to 400 F.
- Remove the outer leaves and rinse the cauliflower.
- Pat the cauliflower dry with a paper towel or a clean cloth
- Place it on an ovenproof tray/dish and add olive oil, salt, black pepper and the turmeric (I really like Turmeric for its’ anti-inflammatory benefits and it tastes super yum!) (Top tip- the black pepper helps potentiate the positive benefits of the curcumin in the turmeric by 2000%- AMAZING RIGHT?!)
- Put it in the oven for about 30 minutes or until roasted.
